a journey of many decades and still incomplete... footprints that have long since been swept away, but these memories remain

MY JOURNEY BETWEEN LIGHTHOUSES

has been anything but linear...

At some point in all of this walking I decided that i was going to finish it. I resolved that I was going to connect these dots and fill every beach between Seal Point Lighthouse (Cape St. Francis) and Cape Hermes Lighthouse (Port St. Johns) with my footprints. I had many many promises to myself, some kept, some broken, and as I reflected upon the many footprints I was making on the sands of time, I knew that I could keep this promise to myself.

I also decided that I was going to try to capture it as best as I could. So with my entry-level phone I began to snap pictures, and to write about my trips. Some trips were certainly more dramatic than others, but even the simple day walks had lessons to teach me, and I was ready to learn, and ready to try to write this down, and to share it - just in case a fellow traveler might stumble upon my footprints and we might walk together a while...
